Why

Why Lovable apps need a real blog

A Lovable app is a product surface. Search engines rank pages with stable URLs, titles, and article markup — not only your hero section. Even with improved rendering on newer Lovable publishes, a dedicated blog still wins for ongoing SEO content without stuffing posts into the app UI.

  • Product URL stays on Lovable (custom domain or lovable.app)
  • Blog URL is blog.yourapp.com on Blogizi
  • You already build with AI — Blogizi is the publish layer for the same agents
Setup

Connect blog.yourapp.com in three steps

  1. Create a Blogizi project and copy the platform host your-slug.app.blogizi.com.
  2. In DNS (wherever the domain lives — often Cloudflare or your registrar), add a CNAME for blog → your-slug.app.blogizi.com. Leave Lovable's A/TXT records for the apex / www alone.
  3. In Blogizi → Project → Settings → DNS, add blog.yourapp.com and verify. Publish a draft post to confirm the blog loads on the subdomain.

Path mode

Can the blog live at yourapp.com/blog?

Lovable hosting does not expose Vercel-style rewrites for path mode. Prefer the subdomain. Use path mode only if you put Cloudflare (or another reverse proxy) in front of the site, or export the app to Vercel/Netlify where you control rewrites.

If you later move the marketing site to Vercel, see Blog for Vercel for the exact rewrite snippet.

Publish from Claude while you keep building in Lovable

Copy your account API key from Dashboard → Account → API, then:

Terminal
$ blogizi auth <key>$ blogizi use your-slug$ blogizi draft ./posts/lovable-seo-tips.md# review in the dashboard, then:$ blogizi publish ./posts/lovable-seo-tips.md
Yellow values are yours to replace. Drafts stay private until you publish.
